Day wise Itinerary
On arriving at Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ NJP Railway Station, meet our representative and drive towards Gangtok. On reaching, check-in & overnight stay in the hotel.
Morning after breakfast, start drive for Baba Mandir (New) and Tsomgo Lake, which is also called Changu Lake, and Nathula Pass.
Baba Mandir And Nathu La Are Situated In Same Circuit In High Altitude Area. Tsong Is At 12,400 Feet, Babamandir App. At 13,123 feet And Nathu La Is At 14,140 Feet.
Tsomgo Lake Is An Alpine Lake With Lots Of Rainbow Trout Though It Is A Sacred Lake Of Sikkim. Visitors Are Not Allowed To Do Boating And Entering The Lake. Baba Mandir Is Situated Much Higher With A Mandir Established And Maintained By 17th Mountain Brigade.
Baba Harbhajan Singh, A Soldier Who Perished In A Gushing River In 1960 Later Re Surfaced To Protect The Border Of Indo-China. Nathu La Pass Is Gateway To Tibet And Before Chinese Aggression This Used To Be Only A Silk Route To Lhasa.
Gangtok To Tsongo Baba Mandir Drive Is One Of The Most Interesting As It Provides An Attitudinal Changes Along With The Vegetation Changes.
Later return back in to hotel and take rest. At evening explore the most attractive place MG Marg (At Your Own). Back to hotel and overnight stay at Gangtok.
Morning after breakfast, explore city tour of Gangtok. Headed up for Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, flower exhibition center etc. After seen this places move on to Do Drul Chorten Monestary, Tashi View Point, where you have chance to see Kanchenjunga Mountain (if the weather is clear) and many picturesque views of the beautiful nature. At evening go for shopping at MG Marg (At your own cost) and return back to the hotel, overnight stay there.
This day, after breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your onward destination.
